Broken Steeples

Visited 19 March 2006

Just after Mickelgate Bar, the walls take their final turn and head Northeast, providing great views of the town and Minster.  As you can see, these old houses of worship are getting some steeple maintenance including the St. Wilfred's (the Catholic church) at the left and the glorious east end of its big sister, the St. Peter's Minster at right.
