San Fortunato Church -- Side Chapels (Continued)

Todi, Perugia/Umbria, Italy
Visited All Saints Day 2007
Here's 3 more side chapels: Many of the 13 chapels in San Fortunato look like the above chapel of the Crucifixion: white stone speckled with remnants of frescoes.  Often above a small altar will rise a heavy oil painting such as the one above of St. Anthony holding the Christ child framed by baroque columns.

A Dominican Rosary?

San Fortunato Rosary

I'm not sure what this well restored painting of our Lady of the Rosary is doing here as the two saints appear to be in Dominican dress in this Franciscan church.

War Memorial

San Fortunato War Memorial

One of the most sparsely decorated of the 13 chapels is this one dedicated to Todi's sons who fell in the Great Wars of the 20th century.
