Northern Exposure of York Minster

Here's the full length northern exposure of the York Minster, the largest Gothic cathedral north of the Alps.  Note the scaffolding on the East Window (at left); apparently the cathedral is rehabbing the largest stain glass window in the world.  The cone head (about a third from the left) is roof of the chapter house where the northern church hierarchy would meet.  Between our camera vantage on the north York wall and the Cathedral, lies the Dean's Park, a bit of green space created by the 19th century destruction of buildings abutting the Minster.
